Affiliate disclosure
Some links on PropRule Ledger may be affiliate links. This page explains what that means for you.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a link to a firm's website that lets the firm know the visit came from us. If you then buy a product, such as an evaluation, the firm may pay us a commission. You do not pay more because you used our link.
How we label affiliate relationships
- Every firm we cover is labeled either "Affiliate partner" or "No commercial relationship".
- Any page that contains affiliate links shows an affiliate disclosure near the top of the page.
- Affiliate links are marked in the page code as sponsored links.
What commissions do not change
- Scores, which follow our public scale. No criterion relates to commissions.
- The order of firms in comparisons, or which firms are included. Comparisons include firms we have no commercial relationship with.
- The drawbacks we report. Every review lists genuine disadvantages.
Firms cannot pay for placement, reviews or scores. See our editorial policy.
